Chicken thighs Big Jake style

Had a pack of chicken thighs to cook but the sky started dumping rain so that left the weber vortex combo out as well as little Jake sitting covered up.

Loaded big Jake with Oak

and seasoned the thighs with kosmo killer bee / dirty bird combo. Waited an hour and half and put the thighs In when the temp was up.

Lots of room left but didn’t plan on rain this afternoon. Jake didn’t care. Let them cook about 45 min before checking and it was time to pull.

Had a store bought mixed salad with some Miso dressing to go with it on the fancy plates.

Overall things were a success.

Love chicken thighs.

Had a store bought mixed salad with some Miso dressing to go with it on the fancy plates.

We do the store bought salad regularly, quick and easy...

They are good. We are lucky to live where a lot of lettuce is grown and packaged so is pretty fresh.

Thank you. the wife makes a miso dressing, but we also keep a bottle of it for time when in hurry this was purchased by her from Idk where, but its pretty good.
