So I knew it was clouding up rain was coming had the wife stop at the Mexican store grabbed Chicken steaks and Short Ribs, seasoned with paprika Mexican oregano and black pepper. It’s the first time I’ve used my Cusinart Woodcreek in a “grilling” situation. It comes with a tray of ceramic briquettes as an insert. I removed heat plate installed insert and turned to SEAR, at about 520 I put chicken steaks down flipped at about 3 minutes had short ribs on rack. Total of 17 minutes for all and I’m done as the rain comes down! I paired it with red beans and rice southern style with a cumin cayenne lime twist from Michocan Mexico. Cheers!

Looks like a tasty meal there. Let us know how the Cusinart works for you.

It’s absolutely amazing, I was kinda nervous grilling rather than smoking on it, but today I learned it’s capabilities! I’ve mentioned before I didn’t know Cusinart made a grille, buts it’s as high end as the kitchen appliances they’re known for!

Nice looking meal. I like Cuisinart products they seem to have a long life. How were the ribs were they tough?
