hi, i want to smoke a chicken on my new wsm never smoked before, i've been trying to smoke but been so busy now that things have slow down i want to smoke first two chickens and than a pork butt. So does anyone have a good if not great chicken rub, iam going to try a beer chicken i hope i said right lol. well, any input would be appresiated.

I am a big fan of Plowboys Yardbird rub. You can get it on line and at Bass Pro shops.

For my birds I usually just put the basics on it garlic & onion powder, Pepper, Season Salt, dill Accent etc.
