Only 3# charcoal and 2 chunk's of Pecan.
20 briquete's in the chimney and were off!!



Sweet blue almost immediately!




Wanted to try to run about 325*........this is the best i could do, about 45 min's now!

Had a accurite just like it...
No, mayo will NOT crisp at low heat, gotta be 300+ or rubber!

Really doesn't matter what you put on the chix, or if you put anything on the chix, if you cook at 350° you get crisp skin.
I do want to try the mayo to hold rub in place. That is the purpose. Same as mustard on ribs.
And Bubba, thems some tasty lookin' chix!
