chicken and ribs?

My question is this...I am going to do some spareribs this weekend and would like to try a chicken too.

Would I start the chicken for an hour or so before the ribs?

if I decide to butterfly the chicken would the time be the same

It would be in a masterbuilt xl propane. and chicken on top and ribs under if doing whole on a beer can holder?

should have used the search first...found most of my answers but the time comparisons for the two .

Always put chicken under anything else in the smoker.

Look up 3-2-1 method for spare ribs ( 6 hrs. ) chicken should take less depending on its weight.
