Hello all,

Did this backwards, I think.  Posted on a regular thread first and then found my way here.

My name's Fred and I live on Lake Erie in northeast Ohio.

I have a charbroil bullet smoker, but rely on a Master Built vertical w/remote as of late.

I've got a lot of experience at attempts and limited experience at doing it right.  The Master Built with the built-in thermometer has helped immensely producing fare for a happy family, instead of the usual..."it's okay".

Hope to pick up many more tips here and am certainly glad to be here.

Hey Fred!  Jason from Ridgeville here.  I too have a Masterbuilt vertical and I love it so far.  I've been grillin for 30 years but new at the smoke thing.  I've done chicken, pork but and last weekend did a 14 lb brisket.  All turned out great.  I'd love to trade stories some time!!
