Wanted to quickly introduce myself.  My wife, 17 month old boy and myself live in Long Beach, CA.  I just got into smoking about a year ago when my mother-in-law bought me a Masterbuilt 30" electric smoker.  We've experimented with only salmon and ribs to this date but plan on really putting it to use this spring/summer.  I love to BBQ and this was just taking it to the next level.

I work in the IT field at a local college.  I enjoy gardening, photography, ice hockey and playing with our little boy Luc (named after the best left winger in hockey).

I hope to participate in the forums as much as possible and I'm excited to learn tips/techniques from everyone here.
