Charcoal Pan Paint Chips

I was working through some mods on my ECB and I was drilling holes in the charcoal pan to increase air flow.  While doing this, the black enamel chiped quite a bit around the holes I drilled.  Any downside or future problems because of this?

I wouldn't worry about it.  Smoke on!
