Charcoal comeback

hmmm...I use Cowboy lump and had no complaints so far, certainly not found Floorboards in it.....

I also use Stubbs briquettes, no complaint there either.

I dont smoke that often tho, once a week usually, Chicken or Ribs or the occasional brisket and fish.

All done on a Weber kettle, Nothing fancy.

That is quite a mixed bag of charcoal you use.  Where do you get that Coconut lump, what kind of food do you smoke with it, and how does it taste?  You really have my interest piqued here!

Use R Oak, BGE, AFIRE Coconut lump, Special Blend, Ozark lump and Wicked Good weekend warrior lump.

Keep checking that Cowboy, you will eventually see some pieces that are about 3" wide with a defined slot in the side to fit tongue-in-groove, the other side will have the groove.  I have found this in several bags of Cowboy.  I actually have a bag or two in the garage, if I find some I'll post a pic or two.

I also like the Stubbs, all natural, doesn't leave any weird flavors in the food, but is a little expensive.
