I have a question for Jeff but I’m not sure how to get it to him nor am I certain that I’m even in the right place to post correctly. This whole forum has really grown and become a bit overwhelming- but a very cool overwhelming at that.

So here’s my question. I’m trading in my Camp Chef Woodwind SG (selling it) for a Napoleon LEX 4 burner rotisserie gas grill. Mama just doesn’t care for smoked meats much and she doesn’t care much for the wood flavored grilling. I think she’s originally from Mars. My question is this: can I use my AMAZING Smokers in the grill to still occasionally smoke something???

I’m guessing the challenge would be to just maintain the constant 225° Or whatever temp. I have all the digital WiFi thermometers, etc. But could it still work??
Thanks for your comments everyone.

Of course you can. I frequently use an AMZN tube in my Napoleon Rogue grill with good success. I've found that I don't get as much smoke "flavor" as with a dedicated smoker due to the necessary venting in a gas grill, but it is still good.

BTW, I had never heard of Napoleon grills until my DW bought me one for father's day. Those are some amazingly well build and performing grills. I would put it up against a Weber that I had any time.
