After taking a look at it, no thanks.

The receiver has no display so you can't read the temps. It is a single probe for food temp only so no way to monitor smoker chamber temp. Those two cons are enough to make this a bad buy. The timer is also only for 99 minutes. Can't think of too much I have smoked in that short of a time.

A search of Google reveals that EVERY retailer that has them is offering them at 19.99 with free shipping. That indicates to me it was mass produced and probably has a high breakdown rate (price reduction across all retailers?)
