What is the best way to get rust off of cast iron grates for a Char-Griller? I use my Char-Griller for smokin' abt's, moink balls and newly tried amarillo eggs.

Thanks for being so responsive Eman,the best way is to sandblast iron but since most of us dont have access to a sand blaster i would have to say brillo pads and elbow grease follwed by a good scrubbing and seasoning w/ some cooking oil.
I dont drink beer but a nice jack on the rocks would be fine. I do have access to a sand blaster lol.Thanks for being so responsive Eman,
The only problem is that I'd rather use my elbow for something productive like drinking ice cold beer.
RibKing - Check around with some local body shops or see if you can find a powder coating business near you....they'll sandblast them and you can save your elbowsthe best way is to sandblast iron .
