I was very disappointment with Syracuse Casings about a year ago with some tough 32-35 hog casings...I figured it was a one time thing but a friend bought a hank from them about a month ago and said the same thing...
Buyer beware

Syracuse casings have a good rep among some well known people here.

I buy my pork casings locally.  No clue where they actually come from?

I do soak in vinegar and water after rinsing.  Then rinse and turn inside out.  No major problems.  Some differ, but all seem OK?

Good luck and good smoking.

Butcher & Packer is another good one.

Good products from B&P but i am getting a little disappointed with no discounts or seller / customer interaction  for all the money I spend there.. I just received 22-24 mm casings which were shipped the best way for 9.95. I received them packed in a small flat rate box that cost them 5 bucks to ship. handling was probably 15 seconds. I write them every time I order about discounts and get no response.. Wish they would at least tell me to f.o. or something......

I would go with      http://www.sausagemaker.co/index.aspx?gclid=CKWVpYXcsrQCFYuZ4AodGSkAiA They are a site sponsor and everyone here gives them great reviews but they don't sell casings packed in a salt solution which I prefer over casings packed in salt only. I get my fresh natural casing for 38-42mm locally at the farmers market
