I like to add about a pound of leftover pp to 2 pounds of pintos, about 6 cloves of garlic, and a few rub spices to my slow cooker and cover with water by about an inch. Let cook on low over night, and I have bbq beans for a week. I also cook the leftover pork bone in with the beans. Flavors the beans and softens the bone up for my hounds.
