I love the canned chipolte peppers in the mole` sauce. Most grocery stores have them in the Mexican food section.  I use em in chili and sauces. I was wondering if anybody had ever tried dehydrating them? If so, how did they turn out? Did they keep the same flavor? I thought they might be good ground up and added to a dry rub? Just wondering?

I buy already dried chipotles in the store and grind them....   The adobo sauce is made from dried chipotles....  I add ground chipotles to all kinds of foods and sauces...  Good stuff....  You can buy dried peppers in most stores that have latino food.... Put them in the smoker....  Dry and grind for any flavor chipotle you want... Anaheim, New Mexico, Poblano....   They are all very good....   Dave
