Can I store my smoker inside when not in use?

I don't have a garage or a basement but I do have room in the house to store a smoker when not in use.  I'm planning on buying the Smokin it #1 smoker, just curious if the smoke smell linger long after being finished with smoking?   I don't want the house smelling like smoke and do have the option of leaving it on my deck, partially covered by an overhang and I'd put a cover on it.

You should be ok leaving it on the deck covered.  In fact, Steve at Smokin It says it is ok provided it is covered. If the area under the eave stays pretty much dry during rain (wind direction dependent) that is even better.

It will smell up the house-all mine needs is a warm day and it smells as I'm smoking. but than again (smoke ) is my Other cologne.

Yep... that...plus, my wife won't allow me to keep it in the house

Why dont you build a smoking box/storage box to keep it in...I think smokin' husker has one her bf built for her...could ask her the details about it.

Seems like inside storage is a bad idea.   I'm glad the Smokin it is all stainless steel, the ones I"ve looked at at the big box stores all looked like repurposed mini fridges, wouldn't feel good leaving those outside year round in PA.
