Camp Chef Smoke Vault 18"

Hi,

I have really learned a lot from this site and after reading up on propane and charcoal smokers I am leaning towards the 18" Smoke Vault. Does anyone know approx. how much propane it uses per hour or how long a tank lasts?  I'm still considering the 18.5" WSM and I want to compare the cost to run each one. Thanks.

I have a GOSM propane and I kept a log one time to see how much time I was getting out of a 4.7 gallon tank. I quit writing the log when I hit 42 hours, it probably went another 6 or 8 after that.
