calibrate temperature in a MES

Does anyone know if the themometer in a MES 30 can be calibrated, mine seems to be getting hotter than what I have it set at.

If it can, nobody ever told me.

They usually aren't really off, but only measure where the sensor is.

You need something like a Maverick ET-732 to tell for sure.

In the Summer mine will run up after it shuts off farther than in the Winter.

Then in the Winter the heat will drop more after the element comes on before it starts rising, but that all makes sense.
