Buying used smoker

I found this cheap used smoker for $30 on craigslist. I will be checking it out in a week. Im getting it to cook multiple foods at once since my ECB does not hold much. Plus it has vents unlike mine. I know its a brinkmann. But dont know what model. Just from looking at it, does anyone know if its a good one? Also, id like to clean it before using it. What is the best way to do so?

Looks like a good starting point. I would scrape it down. Do a real hot long burn in it. If anything is loose scrape it or wire brush it and you should be good to go.

Yep

 That's a good one... you should have good smoking with it , be sure to put a good seasoning on it after cleaning , as David suggest.

Have fun , send lot of Q-view of the R/R and all the stuff you shove into her...
