Buying Andouille????

I love Andouille sausage but I can't find it anywhere around here. I've checked Walmart, Sams, BiLo, Kroger and Lowes Foods along with a couple local butcher shops but no luck. Where do you guys buy that stuff?

I don't think I have seen it for sale outside Louisiana...it's not hard to make though..

Strange, even here in Jersey they have it smoked and ready to go and raw but seasoned and in the casings that I can buy at Shoprite.

I think it's boarsheard and groten wiegel who has it pre packaged up here in the northeast.

I can get it here in Chicagoland, either from butcher shops that make their own, or specialty butchers who bring it in from Louisiana.

You could always order some from the interenet, I have searched in the past on google and found some sources.

I don't know if they will ship it to you, but I get mine from Hollier's Cajun kitchen here locally. They also make all my Cajun sausage from the game I kill. In my opinion you would be hard pressed to find better quality sausage anywhere. Below is the contact information for them.

We in the northeast of Fla can find it here but it's not the original kind it's the mass produced kind and not that great but you can find some really good stuff hiding away at some local small butchers shops here.

Hey man,

 I am also from south jersey. Millville. I don't know how close you are to Vineland but there is a place called Serra Sausage there that makes a really good Andouille, and many other great sausages too.

If your not to far away ,check them out.

Every so often I pick up Aidell's Cajun Andouille from the local Waldbaulm's. Very tasty.
