I finally got to fire up the smoker today. It was a pain using wet wood I ended up putting splits into the warming cabinet to dry them before using em. Used Jeff's rub on one and another members rub on the other. Wood was oak and pecan. Sorry I didn't get pics of the prep.

Got a really nice bark on those butts, Jerry. That's just a preview of some of the fine food we'll have at the gathering!
