Butter for the first time

i have died and gone to heaven lol it might kill me but damn i will die a happy man. I did some cheese/salt and couple pickled eggs as well lol

How long and what type of wood?

couple hours with hickory pellets in the smoke tube.next time i will use apple and also wanna try the competition blend ( hickory/maple/cherry) that i have maybe even hickory.apple mix

i left the cheese in for 4 hours the butter for 2

I haven't tried to smoke butter yet, don't know why.
I smoke a lot of cheese, so next batch I'll throw a couple of sticks of butter in the smoker too!

Sealed up the rest but kept some out. Had it on toast and popcorn and it was so good.

I love smoked butter!!!
My favorite wood to use is orange.
