Somebody was saying they couldn't find butcher paper, except in a large roll. They wanted to use it to smoke meat, and they were asking about wax paper, which will not work. Alternative is to use the old paper grocery shopping bags. You can find them for sale at the bulk stores, or maybe your local grocery store still has them. My local Kroger's does, but you have to ask for them, and they're glad to give you all you want.
