Finally had a Saturday night off from basketball games, so I figured some burgers would hit the spot along with some venison butterflys.....well.....because those never suck!
Did a few regular cheese burgers and a few mushrooms and Swiss. Mine was a double mushrooms, onion and Swiss with a betterfly on it because America!
Sorry for bad pics, and poor presentation. I was hurrying to get them inside before they cooled down.

All looks excellent to me! Hard to beat good griddle burgers with grilled onions. What’s a venison butterfly?
Thanks! It's the backstraps cut to be butterflied out.

I'm loving that last shot of your burger. That looks spectacular. Very nice job and I can only imagine it was out of this world good.

Thanks Robert! That one kept me company (for a very short time) while i was cleaning up the griddle! ;).......

These burgers look awesome! Love me some backstrap as well. We prefer to chicken fry ours.
Interesting. Im going to have to give that a try! Probably the only way I havent made them lol! How long do you fry it?

I do it in a cast iron skillet. Really hot oil and about 3-4 minutes per side. I treat it just like thin sliced beef for CFS.
