i used a mix of hickory and pecan for smoke...the sauce is my own creation...

i just call it chicken sauce...

How long did you smoke them and at what temp were you shooting for when smoking. I have family coming over this weekend and want to do the same thing.

Mmmmm Mmmmm, love them leg quarters. What are you using for a smoker? Does the fire slide into the unit? It doesn't look like there's anything around it on your pict.
 
Looks and really sounds good. What kind of sauce did you use? That fire didn't keep going out with all that air flow?
 
started at 250 then rose to 300

cooked for a total of an hour and a half
 
yea it slides under the grate.... its just a big ol grill
