well my wife's family is in town  from Texas, they requested a brisket so its going on the pit tonight .....................

they have changed plans.. and going home tomorrow, NICE!!!!!! o well their loss, I'm still pulling the all niter and smokin it

just a little FYI....10 lb packer , instead of using EVOO or Mustard to help JNRR stick  i used a steak sauce  then applied the JNRR and frigitated for 24hrs

i have a big pan of water in the smoker and chose not to do any mop  i have not opened the lid since the brisket went in (fat cap up) it is 7 am central time  and temp is currently at 145deg

running smoker between 200/225
 
well it took  18  1/2 hrs to finish but it is now resting  and awaiting the main event
