Hey fellas, Im looking for a good brisket rub. I currently have one from a buddy but Im ready to try a new one.

Hey, Rockie!
Have you checked out our section on Sauces, Rubs and Marinades? There are a lot of good suggestions and some excellent recipes there!
And for goodness sakes spring the coin loose for Jeff's recipes for rub and sauce. Trust me you will not be disappointed!
Happy Smoking!
Cheers!
Monty

Rockie, the simplest rub that I use for brisket is to rub it down with some yellow mustard, sprinkle on some kosher salt and fresh course ground black pepper.
