Hey everyone going to smoke a brisket for the big game this coming Sunday,only done 1brisket so far looking for some rub reccommdations, smoking a whole brisket in the 12-14 lb range,any suggestions would be great
Hard to beat good old SPOG for brisket. I also like Weber's chili cocoa.
What ratio should I be shooting for on a spog rub?

Nope I do not. Have had no need to. I also just let mine ride in the smoker no wrapping or anything like that. I have found I like the flavor best that way :)Do you guys inject your briskets ?
I'd stick with Franklin's standard of salt and black pepper. Tried and true.
