My wife and I are going to our 5th wheel in Temecula for the labor day weekend.. Just a gas grill, NO smoker.

I have half of a large brisket I would like to cook, about 6 pounds...

Any ideas anyone????

Thanks, Lucky

Does it have multiple burners?? if so . just set it up indirect heat and set it to the temp you need. If not you could try a water pan between the two and set your temp accordingly

Not the easiest but it has been done by many.  You need a hot side and a cooler side you can keep to the right temps.  A good way to add smoke, and you are on your way.

Good luck and good smoking.

It should be easier than doing it on a charcoal grill, you will have much better temp control.

Good luck!
