Does it get any better than brisket leftovers from a nice smoke? Man I just had another thick brisket sandwich with some delicious Swiss cheese. I think this is the best barbecue leftover of any kind.

What is your favorite type of barbecue leftovers?

George

For left overs my favourites are.. The ones I didn't have to make and some one else made me LOL

Case in point is the Brisket; finished it super late, so just some to test at night. Tried to make a proper meal of it, but I ended up basically just reheating some brisket for who ever was around for dinner. Rest was still in the fridge, finally decided a few days later to go and heat some up to make brisket hash..to find no brisket left... I always seem to be tired of what I cook before it's done and wait a day or two to actually go 'I should properly enjoy it now' Lol.

I can't even begin. Brisket, turkey, chicken, fatties, PP, Ribs and on it goes, Sammies for leftovers, Chilli with any of the leftovers is always good, The wife did some pot pies with smoked leftovers that were amazing. It just goes on!!!!

I believe I agree as well.
Brisket leftovers are amazing, especially when smoked with 100% Mesquite wood!
I think my next favorite are either smoked Meatloaf with about 80% Mesquite wood, or cured and Smoked Turkey breast!

I love how all smoked food gets better and better for days after it was initially smoked.

What ever I have leftover is my favorite.

I'm with GMC on this one, it's hard to pick a favorite.
However brisket would be toward the top of the list!!

I kind of figured that I was not alone with the brisket cravings. I absolutely love making sandwiches out of it. I slice it thick about 3/8 to 1/2 inch. It’s unparalleled on a roll or bun. I’m out of town for a few days so enjoy your week. There is never a better day then today for small king some goodness.
