Brisket in the snow

Started a 4 lb brisket this morning. Had to shovel a spot for the smoker. Rubbed with southern succor rub. Smoking with hickory pellets.

Where you at  in CO? I'm in Colorado Springs and I too am smoking some elk jerky in the NB in the snow as well!

Brisket is my next tackle!

I am in Montrose. Nice light snow. Good start for a new years eve.

Brought to 180 then foiled to 195. Let rest for 30 minutes.
