I purchased a ten pound brisket and cut it in half to place on the racks along with a 3 pounder. What is the estimated cook time for the 13 pounds

You don't estimate time based on total weight of the food. You do it off of the size of the biggest piece. What is the biggest piece that you have?

Thank you for the reply and the heaviest piece is 5.25 pounds.

Based on that I would estimate 1.5hrs per lb at 225-250 degrees. So about 8 hours. Now I would start about 10 hours early then it should be done 2 hrs early then you can wrap and hold in a cooler until needed. This also allows you 2 hours of fudge time in case you have temp issues in the smoker.
