Ok, this is actually a delayed report by a week. Went to Sam's and decided to get a brisket (flat) and what the heck, picked up a chuck as well. Rubbed the chuck with salt and pepper and the brisket with some coffee, salt, pepper, paprika and cumin. Had the chuck that night. Came out nice, so pulled it for sandwiches.

Smoked over mesquite (not my usual) and had great results.

Brisket the next night heated up in the crock pot with a little guinness. Finished up the leftovers a few days ago with brisket quesadillas. I love beef!
