I have a 12# turkey processed with a 9% salt, sugar, etc. solution. Should I brine it? And wet or dry?

I do . I use Pop's brine . Never had any issues . Last one I did was more than 9 % . My opinion is it equals out to around 10 % all said and done .
You'll get different opinions .

Thanks. Not sure if I have time for that, but I might give it a light dry brine.

I use Gobbler Hollow turkey brine on the processed turkeys when i cant get ahold of a fresh one and it works just fine.

I went with a light dry brine that work just fine. Not too salty, and great flavor.

I inject a lite flavor brine using up to 4 ounces into each side of the breast and 1 to 2 ounces into each leg and thigh. This cuts down on brine time. I'll inject 8 hours before cooking.
