Nice !!  Awesome bark!!!

I use a soup can in the center and fill the ring up full.

Then shake the ring till it packs down tight.

Put 10 burning coals in the can and pull it..

It will last 20 hours...

Shut off the air and save whats left til the next time.

Oh yeah...quit taking the lid off so much....hahahahahahahahhahahahahha
 
And another foil-less butt is born! Great job! Did ya have the patience to rest it or did ya jump right in and pull it apart?

I agree about leaving the lid on. There comes a point when it no longer smells like smoke but you can really smell the pork going over the top,   I usually find this to be right in the 195-200 range..

Yup was hard not to be looking.

I didnt foil, by the time i had the IT of the butt it was ready to fall apart so i just went right into it.
