I'm leary of hot dogs...maybe I could handle them smoked.

great eats, i like cheep hotdogs. got 2 butts and 2 briskets going on at 10pm, so i thot i would utilize the heat while doing a reseason.
 
Hmmm, thanks for the tip smokebuzz, I like smoked chubs of bologna, I'll give the hot dogs a try.

try this next time .my mom did this our whole livesonly in thebroiler i moved them to the smoker and wow wow wow .slice your faverite dog ''mine is wrangler cheese dogs'' like i was saying slice your dog down the side not all the way through ,just enough to open it up fill it with mustard and a slice of dill pickle close it back up and totaly wrap it in bacon .use a toothpick on each end to holdbacon in place and dog closed smoke till bacon is cooked and sit down for the best pigs in a blanket you ever had

Bill that sounds good. I love hotdogs too but I had some hotdogs in the Navy back in the 70's when they were pushing that soybean filler crap that I didn't like! God they were awful! Kind reminded me a greasy saw dust!
 
would those be "beaner dogs"?
