Boston Butt Bargain

The day before Thanksgiving I was in the local Kroger and they had butts for only $0.33 a pound. I've never seen anything that low before. Even before the recent price increases. I was able to pick up an 8.5 pounder for under $3. Wish I had more room in my freezer.

Just thought I'd share my find. Have a good one.

Yes sir that's a steal ! I have 2 in the freezer from .99 earlier this yr but I'd sure got more and made room somewhere

Shows $1.88/lb. at my local Kroger. I still have several in the freezer from the last 99 cent sale though.

Holey crap, what a steal. We are currently at $2.49, waiting to see if go down a bit as i need some for deer.

Yeah, it was a fantastic price. I think they were trying to get them moved since most people were in turkey mode.

WOW, at $0.33 / lbs I might have added a third freezer lol. I’ll have to look at the two Kroger’s I shop at tomorrow. Was likely a local managers special on over stock.
