Stopped of at the store to get Meds figured I would surprise the Mrs and cook again she is counting points and chicken is low these were on sale so in the basket they went
I felt like horseradish so I grabbed a tri tip and couldn’t pass these sausage up never seen Hatch Chile ones before
Seasoned beef with McCormicks
chicken seasoned with Lang Yellow rub
started the smoker at 415pm.
Took the tri tip off when it reached 140 (little more done than I’m used to but wanted to try it ) let it rest for 10 min and sliced
Super tender and flavorful
Pulled chicken at 170 to be safe
The hatch seasoned sausage was off the hook. Definitely a must have.
All said and done. From start of fire at 415 pm to finish eating at 615 pm. Not bad for a stick burner. Really liking the Lang bbq
