Jerky Time.
I couldn't take it anymore, I had to try upon the recommendation of a friend.
2.5# of Top Round Venison sliced 3/16"
Bloody Mary Jerky Seasoning

All pieces seasoned and into fridge. Rotate and mix pieces up after about 6 hrs. Fridge overnight
Pieces on racks with Q- mats while MES warming to 170°,

170° for 1 hr no smoke.
Bumped temp to 180° for 3 hrs , oak/hickory/cherry pellets made to dust for tray.
Temp back to 160° for 2 hrs and then turned heat off.
Allowed to cool in smoker

This does have a nice Bloody Mary taste with a nice little bite to it. Quite pleased with it...

May try a small batch of snack sticks with this . Not sure what difference the ingredients are jerky vs. snack sticks ?

That does look good . Whole muscle venison makes the best jerky . Nice work .
Not sure what difference the ingredients are jerky vs. snack sticks ?
I would say none as long as the cure is the right amount . Did that have a separate cure packet ?
 
That looks excellent! And I do have a soft spot for anything Bloody Mary! I have the PS seasoning version of this. And was thinking about making jerky with it. The ingredients look quite similar.

Thanks Steve. If I get brave enough to try shooting out some naked snack sticks, I'll let you know the outcome.
