Got a pitboss 456. Smoke holes everywhere but was wondering in I block 2 holes in back (every other) will it infuse more smoke or will I just cut the O2 intake?

I had a 340 and left everything open. I figured there was enough engineering in them to get the best cook out of the grill. Then again, that's just me.

No don't block, buy a tube at walmart and run it after you nuke the pellets for 2 minutes, make sure the wife aint around trust me on that lol

Better yet run the Amaez-n oval tube smoker. I have used it with great success.

That's what they sell at Walmart, had a off brand that didn't work well, but the pellets still need nuked to make them burn good imo
