Just an FYI The Blackstone is on a primeday deal for $209 bucks. I know there are some issues with Amazon right now but

Blackstone 36" Griddle

Hope this helps someone out.

Heard the site crashed today, bought a Blackstone dash for $5o a few months back at Rural King, its a great portable unit I leave in the camper and easy to clean

It did crash but if you use smile it works and that is the link i posted. Was the one you got the new one with the rear grease trap and all?

Saw this and trying to decide whether or not to pull the trigger. I have been wanting on one for awhile now. Pretty sure my wife will kill me but that's alright...she got a new iPad for her birthday a few days ago so she's still happy.

How hard are these to upkeep and maintain? I've read a lot on them and they seem fairly simple to clean and stuff as long as you keep oil on the top to keep from rusting? Mine would stay outside under a cover.

This also seems like the newer model with the sides that come with it for $209

They are a cooking machine...Not bad for upkeep. Scrape with a 4" putty knife. Squirt of water on the tough spots, re-oil with whatever you choose and your set.
Cooks excellent bacon, cheesesteaks, smash burgers...etc.

VOL , thats a great price . I have a 28" Got mine on closeout for $100 .
The rear grease drain has to be a game changer .
I agree , cookin machine .

Thanks for the advice chopsaw and hardcookin.

I actually got the wife's blessing on it...fixing to pull the trigger. Gotta hold off on the kegerator now though haha
