Bison burgers?

Hey folks,
I was going to pick up some ground bison and have a go at cooking these on my GMG Ledge over this coming weekend
.
Anyone done these on their pellet smoker before?

Any recommendations on how to do them?

Treat it like lean beef, very good imo.

Have never done burgers with bison but used to make chili with it now and then, was really good. Agreed with @mike243 , treat it like very lean beef.

I'd likely want to be more around 150 but it can be sketchy if you aren't comfortable confident of the grinding process

I had to read that seven or eight times to figure out what you were actually trying to say. Unless you actually meant it that way. In that case, I'm not here to judge

I completely missed it till your post. Talk about my brain just fixing the words to what I want them to say or however that study goes where certain spelling and words just have to be close.

For me I like to add about 20% ground pork to the mix. Bison needs a little fat content to make a decent burger imo.

I have many times. Warning: If you do this you will not want to go back to beef.
