Sweet on both counts. Ya, the muscle cars were great in a straight line if they had plenty of room to stop. The coil over systems and bigger better brakes make a huge difference. Not sure where you live but I was lucky, here in Cal we are able to track year round. If it rains it's all about learning control.

I bought the lark out of California...
