Hi going to try it's 1st turkey next weekend on the kamado k5bbefore the xmas one so any tips welcome

Need more details, size, is it minimally processed, will you brine, inject, etc: what kind of smoker?

Welcome kamado. Do a search on for turkeys. Lotta people have done them and you'll find dome good tips.
