Best Thermos?

General smoker build question here...What are the best thermometers out there for smokers? Building my own offset right now and I'm looking to put 2 thermos in my lid, one by the FB and the other by the exhaust. Looking for brands here. If it's available on Amazon, even better!

River Country therms are available on Amazon. I use these on my smoker and my Kettle. Tel-tru are also on Amazon. They are no better, just a lot more expensive.

I have Tel-tru's, but I have heard a lot of good things about River Country.

I think if I ever need a replacement I would go with the River Country one's.

Thanks guys! Seen both on Amazon but couldn't decide on reviews alone. Since thermometers are really the only thing I'm having to spend $$ on, might as well go all out!

Decided on the River Country. Holy cow those Tel Tru's are a mint!!!

Check eBay for Tel-Tru thermometers.  I got the one I'm using on my WSM for under $25 shipped (the old model before they came with thermometers).  It was brand new in the factory box.
