Been nice here lately , like 40s to 50s. But this morning when our Doberman went to edge of porch and stopped and wanted back in I checked weather... 16 degrees wind chill... it felt cold! Salt, muscovado sugar, juniper berries, rosemary, cure#1 for 6 days, dry overnight, smoke at 225 4/5 hours. Been burning ash lately, that's all I could getYes bacon looks good. Details on the cure and cook?

Is there a big difference between the light and dark?It's quite tasty brown sugar, not refined, it has molasses taste
