Hi all, I havent post much of anything in a few months. Life went wild...
  • Contracted to buy a home in Colorado and sell the SLC house in the same 8 hours.
    • Packed and moved in 4 weeks.
  • Our first grand baby was born. In CO with a LOAD Of complications.
  • Other daughter got diagnosed with the big casino - it was removed...finger crossed.
  • My mother totaled her car. She is in CO and wont stop driving - dont get me started.
  • the move consumed all our time for the last 2 months. the new house needed some updates and we went after them like a full time job. This is finally slowing. these will go on for a bit, but the big ones are behind us now.
  • Mostly good. but not all good.
I have lurked some to see that everyone is still around. A couple friends reached out directly and I really appreciate that.

We are very happy to be back home in CO. We are at about 8200 ft in elevation. Sourdough recipe is working great. Made some ribs and pulled pork, stuffed poblano's Hoping to have some normalcy by January...

Thanks to all for the support and kind words. Life is an adventure and it definitely turned the heat up on us there for a few. Hoping for some calm. I hope to be around a little more.

I was committed to smoke a whole turkey (thanks to my wife) which I have never done. Im sure it will be fine, but ya know...

Sorry to hear this Dave. Like they say when it rains it pours. Here's hoping the skies are brightening in the upcoming days.

Dave!! Welcome back buddy. Great to see you again. Also great to see all that amazing food!! Well done sir and happy that most of the insanity is behind you. Should we assume that the recovery from the leg injury is all healed?

I love fresh sourdough. Getting into that was big fun. Even tough my daughter to make her own for her fam. She nailed immediately.

Thank you Robert! Good to be back for sure. Most of the super crazy seems to be over. I am never moving again!

The leg…good lord. Mostly yes. I can ride a bike and hike. Mostly pain free. I think the pain will be with me a long time…or till i get knee replacements. UGH. I’l wait for medicare for those.

One more surgery next month to remove all the titanium from the ankle. boots grate on it and make it pretty uncomfortable. Should be fast procedure. I had it done before and grabbed lunch on the way home.
