Been Craving Some Q'ed Up Beef Back Ribs !!

    Thanks man, been craving some of these for a while ! Just put em on with some hickory at 225* to soak up some good ole TBS ! Ya smokin anything tonite or ya givin the mini a breather?

    All right all, just had my better half check the ribs & they are coming along nice ! I was headed out an hour ago to check on them & twisted my ankle real good ! I'll try & get some pics posted here shortly !

    Yeah, I'll be good man.... Thanks ! It just swelled up real good & is pretty tender, my wife's helping me out !

    Sorry bout the Q view tonite, kinda couch bound with a pretty bad sprained ankle so it's more like C view (couch view) of my plate !

    Ribs were on for 3 1/2 hours at 225* with hickory & a spring salad mix with ranch dressing !
    Thanks for lookin ! Try maybe some better pics tomorrow with the leftovers ! :biggrin:

    Thanks Adam... Not sure on the pics thing, yours looked great to me ! I'd have had a couple pieces of that chicken with no problem ! See how this thing is doin in the morning.... Hope better... I done a bang up job on it ! LOL

  17. Hey looks real good, I haven't had any good meaty beef ribs in a long time The places around here skin em pretty close, not much meat. Sorry about the ankle

    Thanks Gary ! These were pretty decent... Would have liked them to not be trimmed up quite as much as they were.... Nevertheless, not too bad.... I appreciate your kind remarks & concern ! Keepin an eye out on your smokey Saturday over on your thread ! Lookin tasty !
     
  19. Your ribs look wonderful!! Coincidentally, I have some waiting in my fridge.
     
  20. The only way to get really meaty ribs is have the butcher cut them for you, but the price is so high you may as well go with a bone in or boneless Rib Eye Roll and have lots of meat.

    I have found them a couple of times with decent meat on them but not often enough.
