I am going to attempt my first Beef Tenderloin in a few weeks and I would like to know how long to cook per pound? Any help is appreciated.

Funk-Remember that the tenderloin is just that TENDER. Not alot of connective tissue there to break down with the LOW and SLOW method of cooking. You can do a fast smoke (Chamber temps 250-300*) figure about 45-50 minutes per pound or cook to temp. depending on how done you like your meat.

Here would be your doneness temperatures, how do ya like your meat Funk?
