Have the whole family in town from Kansas and we decided to break in the new WSM that my wife got for me this weekend.
Both the ribs and chicken are rubbed down with Jeff's rub and on the smoker and cold beers in hand with my brothers.

That's a great combo!! Got to get me Jeff's rub. I have my own but always willing to try something new. Have you got any pics of the final results? If not, I bet you guy's had a great meal. Reinhard

I just purchased Jeff's rub so I am really excited to try it. The meat has only been on for about an hour but I will be sure to post pics of the final product.
I'm using hickory and apple chunks for the smoke. It is smelling great so far!

Lookin' good so far...don't leave us hangin'!

Looking good! I have a rack of beef short ribs and a rack of pork baby backs smoking right now. Couple more hours to go!

Dinner is served

And the final plate of Ribs, chicken, grilled asparagus, and home made Asian salad.

Overall it was a great meal. The family absolutely loved the flavor of Jeff's rub and sauce. It is going to be a staple in my house. I can't wait to fire up the smoker again!
